@jim trim yes, the ground is very bumpy, and the house no longer floats However, the shading is already set to smooth
In the World settings there’s a panel called Ambient Occlusion with a checkbox to turn it on, a numeric field labelled factor, and a drop down with the values Add and Multiply. Check the checkbox, and select Multiply from the drop down.
@crazychristina I believe he’s using Cycles and not Blender Internal where that setting you are referring to resides.
