Be proud of your project, sure first sell can receive quite negative but it is beginning and after you learn the negative you will create another project more effectively as more stable and less buggy. So negative can bright good thing as proverb : “It may well not succeed without any errors.”

Very nice game. I really like the atmosphere. It reminds me a lot of the movie “The Thing”.
But you should definitely add some tutorial hints at the start of the game to show the player how to handle objects on the map and in the inventory. Many people give it a downvote on steam because they were not able to figure out how to put away the map/diary or how to use items from the inventory on an object on the map and consider it as a bug which it is not.
Up until now I havent run into any performance issues with my Nvidia GTX 760 which caused performance problems with Krum.

Hi Tort, Arctic Alive is an interesting game, great work! I keep fingers crossed for a Greenlight for the Archipelago game I am creating in Godot engine too…well done, keep it up!!
Read the review and you’ll see why they actually have a point. The best review (apparently the best review) states that the game is “bafflingly incompetent” and lists the reasons why. People may be assholes, but those people are your consumers and you must listen to their criticisms. Compare this game to Firewatch or any other indie game, and this game just falls short in terms of presentation.
