I like the guitar head, monkey, dino-gator, and the train the best…I know I am not a voter…but just giving you guys a big thumbs up on your work!
Mr. Barret, I guess you mean me by the train, thank you, I appreciate it! However, Wo262’s works are really awesome too. Love his squarish wooden Jandals! Maybe not too appropriate for the splash, but removed from it they’re great!

One thing though, I think you need to supply a bigger image/splash.
but you could still edit your favourite splash screen (in the preferences) if you don’t like the choosen one 
Love train design, the idea, the concept, and the balance, I think it could be greatly improved by adding more colors/textures to the train and improving the background.
Some background ideas (Making it dawn, nigth, more trees, rails in the mountains)
Anyhow, for me, it is the best entry so far,

You need to increase your post count before you can add attachments or urls as a anti spam measure. You can increase your count by going to the gallery and maybe posts nice comments.

someone should make a splash with the theme ‘light at the end of the tunnel’ kinda suits this release i think 
This image contains the german Wikipedia-text for Blender. It’s no problem to replace this with the english one.
