Linux - Make Gimp look like Photoshop

I would rather avoid the whole windows thing altogether. I don’t have a large hard-drive so I’d like to keep things simple.

Hi NinthJake,

This technique to theme gimp works great on Linux Mint, should only take a few minutes

Well, I didn’t call them monochrome

Anyway, I replaced current tools’ icons in GIMP’s gtk3 branch with the ones the GNOME team did (that is, same as in Inkscape’s theme above). Here’s what it looks like.

Note that they are originally optimized for 16×16px size, and it’s 22×22px on the screenshot, so some of them look fuzzy. That’s to be fixed.

@prokoudine, Is it possible to use these icons in GIMP 2.8? How I can download only the icon theme from git?

I think the last two icons do not show well what they do. “Smudge tool” does not seem a hand. And Dodge/Burn I do not know what it is. The Airbrush icon also think it could be improved.
But I think it is a good icon theme.
