MV Agusta Brutale Motor

very nice engine well detailed!

can you explain how you did the rubber hose with a pattern on it !

hope to see more pics for this project

happy cycles

Thanks, but the render is made with Octane

When I started modelling the engine Blender didn’t have the bmesh
Anyway I prefer to use only quad and triangle becouse ngons are only triangles masked like a polygon and subd don’t like them.

Thanks
I will always remember your useful tips about topology. With a software like SolidWorks this model would have been much easier to do

Ehm, sorry, you are right  They are million not billion

Yup, you are right; Blender is becomeing equal or even better than the other “competitors”, but there’s a lot of aspects that needs improving.

Not so much ~4/5 hours with my card that have only 350 cuda core

It’s more easy that it seems.
I created a BW tilable texture like that in Photoshop:

Than I created the normal map with nDo2:

Feel free to use them if you need.

It’s probably because I’m a little sleepy, but that texture nearly knocked me over . Very painful to look at, for some reason.

Congrats on the feature and I can’t wait to see how the bike turns out.

Why is it hard to believe?

absolutely beautiful work

you set the standard for hard surface modelling in blender with that. I am stunned. just stunned. those materials. that composition. i see… the light. grabs heart

id love to see it rendered in cycles.

i tested your images on a hose

but i get white in between the black losanges lines

how did you made it black lines on black background?

can you show you nodes set up

thanks

Thank you all again for the kind comments

I really appreciate your comment :eyebrowlift:
The renders are made with Octane not Cycles

Hmmm, I don’t understend your problem;
anyway I made a simple test in cycles that is nearly identical with the Octane result:

This is the node setup:

i finally was able to male it work well

but if i use the pics you had uploaded i was not able
i had to re make some new bump and normal map to make it work in cycles
with about same nodes set up you have shown!

thanks

Very stylish.

Amazing work! Would you like to record a video while modeling and post a timelapse because this is really good and I’d love to see you model?

Hehe, maybe I’ll try

very good work

I wish I could model and texture like this. This is amazing you have done awesome work. can’t wait for the finished product!!!

Insane amount of detail! Amazing!

Wow, so much quality,

amazing. thanks for sharing!

Sorry but where did you get these textures? Or we’re the all made in blender.

Amazing work and detailing well done!
