hi! this addon looks great. just wondering about tubify: if you freeze the mesh it generates/apply the modifier - does the result have UVs applied already? that would be very helpful to me.

Little update on the mirror modal for the modals pie menu !

As you can see the mirror modal is really simple to use, you can make multiple modifiers, edit them, see in the 3dview witch one you use etc.

And you can see if the modifier is hided

from my POV the best way of having that would be to just end up with the same consistent default UV’s in a vertical or horizontal layout filling a UV square. if the UV output is something that’s already taking individual pipe diameter settings into account to correct stretching then it means more work adjusting things individually if you plan on having more than one pipe in your scene but with the same texture applied.

btw. another cool thing would be if it was possible to apply tubify to either a group of curve objects and have it build geometry over each one or apply it to separate curve elements that are merged together. that would make my day!

are you going to put this onto cgcookiemarket, too? i saw you have a store there set up already.

Like the bevel modal, other modals will work on multiple objets, but not right now, we are finalising the V1.
We will put it on cgcookie Market yes.

For the uv’s unwrap, the best is the follow active quad, we will se how to do this.

Hi I need some help.

After i update the addon to v_0_0_4 . I hit the pie menus after I hit ctrl + shift + Q , nothing happened. I need some step to make it work? My blender is 2.77a

Remove, restart, install.

And what’s the differences with Hardops.

As you will see in the video, the principal differences are the modals !

With The Modals Pie menu you can manage your modifiers in the 3dview, add multiples modifiers at the same time etc.

You don’t need any plugin for boolean or mirror, you manage your booleans directly in the 3Dview, you can add multiples booleans at the same time, change the operation type, Union, Intersection and difference.
You can hide modifiers, delete them etc.

It’s really powerfull and simple.

The addon can also be used in subdiv mode for organic characters with control of the bevel weight in the 3dview.

I will show you all the new features in an official video, this one is for fun :wink:
