NiZu : I agree with you. For now and before making any more change, I would like Goofy and Philippe and any french speaker to give us their prefered version between :

I discussed with FergusL and Utopik on irc and we all ‘objectively’ agree to choose our version ( :slight_smile: )… which wouldn’t be fair for a vote with Philipe and Goofy. So we choose to count our 3 voices as only 1.

Goofy_bz and Philippe M., you can come and talk on irc or give your choice right here on this thread !

Then we can go on and improve on the selected revision as needed !

Hi,

I uploaded the Hungarian Translation: http://www.pasteall.org/35773
It has the 40 Years and the newspaper translation in it.
I am not sure with the “There’s a lesson to be learned from this.” line.
Hope it is OK, If someone has a better translation, please update it.

Shaulliv : thanks ! Pastebin is also perfect. sub will be in next pack (and i plan an upload to youtube shortly)

Note: it should be possible to recover an utf8 text from pasteall ( most accented letters and non-latin chars get converted to html encoding and displayed as “&#xxxx”, but, so far, i managed to recover everything sent via pasteall …still, links to pastebin or else have less chance of errors ).

hey guys,
I did some tweaks for the German file wich I think are much prettier than the originals from above (did Sebastian made them??). I added the “40 years later” thing just as in the other ones.
I also deleted this "…"s because I think they aren’t usual in Subs (but it’s optional)
I didn’t know where to post it else if it needs to be discussed so I did it here (if someone wants to change it, feel free ;))

EDIT: by the way, I transcribed all the texts that I consider important:

The dutch version is silly.

And it has a typo on line 29.
is: I word er gek van! Ik heb nachtmerries
should be: Ik word er gek van! Ik heb nachtmerries

means " I just wanna go into space "

I’d go for “geweldig zijn”. It expresses a dream, not a drift.

I checked my translation, but every ű and ő is replaced with the html equivalent…

Karakai.andras : yes , don’t worry i’ll recover an utf8 file from those html chars. , just upload , i add to pack , then check it from the .zip i’ll post.

Added : Czech, Hungarian, Chinese traditional. Hebrew.

Updated Deutsch : we put in the “40 years later” line, but not the other changes, the original subs were prepared in agreement with the director , and the authors believe those are more faithful to the original language/script/meaning.

OK, good news for french version. We now have Goofy voting for our version (I will PM to ask him to confirm here) but he showed me some very bad grammatical errors (:o) that are now forgotten : http://www.pasteall.org/36030
FergusL and I changed the “Ecrasement de mémoire” sentence with “Ecrasement mémoire” that better match computer science equivalent french sentence for “Memory overwriting”.
