That might quite possibly be the most useful first post on the forum! Am testing now!

Just like photofly?

Unfortunately it seems none of the tools mentioned here is available for osx.

You can try this for free.

I’ve played with it.

you can get archeos for free and run it from you dvd drive. just mount your hdd and copy the models onto it in a format you can use on osx.

here is a video of models built from the included sfm software http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Mj4lR78FzPo and here is the archeos website http://www.archeos.eu/wiki/doku.php?id=start

I guess this is no answer to my post right? Even if Autodesk 123D seems to be a good solution, it’s not available for osx

this might do it for you:

Archeos seems to be a good solution. I downloaded it, but it seems it’s a bit more than a tiny app, if I understand everything the right way, you have to boot from Archeos. A bit too much system-stuff for the need of turning a photo in a mesh, even if it seems to be really good for its purpose.

Super 6 hexagonal is a very popular 3d modeling software in Japan, and has a module [human generator] that create models from photos for now is only in Japanese.
