@holyenigma74: “Sapling” the same problem for my poor english I also prefer more elementary naming.
@danilius: thanks for instruction (but with addons there are many updates, so change name in general will be appresiated but it’s conversation to the Sapling thread . . .
What shuold I do to get the “Add Window” script working in 2.63 under OSX 10.6?
I’m trying to install ones posted by Meta-Androcto using addon installer in User Preferences, but they don’t even show in Plugins list.
This is somehow urgent to me as I just got some work that requires creating large number of windows.
Thanks in advance to anyone who comes with solution.
To run the script without using the User Preferences / Addons panel, open a text window in blender. Open the add_mesh_window.py file in the text editor, Then press the Run Script button on the text editor window. Then you can add a window from the Shift+A menu
hi IMI,
the package I supply is in a folder.
You need to manually put the folder & all scripts inside into your addons/addons_contrib directory.
add_mesh_cad_objects is the folder.
then you have 1 menu in user prefs Add Mesh > Add Mesh Cad Objects
from there Shift/a > add cad object > choose Window, Balcony or Sove.
I added extracted the zip that meta provided to my blender addon directory. I can find add_mesh_cad under my shift-a pop up menu but when I add a window I do not have the controls in the toolkit pop out that is shown in the video on the first post. Are those controls not included in these later versions?
