IK contraints / Bone Controler?

OK, any realy good animator probably wouldn’t need this tool to animate chars but what expert wouldn’t like it?.. :-?

ok heres an example of what I need

I proposed this kinda funciton on blender.org  forum but I was told by Hos that IK contraints is just that… :<

I didn’t know this! :x and don’t know how to do it, could sombody spill the beans?

I sent you some instructions on how to do ik-solvers and a sample file to your netscape e-mail account.

Cheers

This would be an awesome feature, and would make advanced character animation (like kung-fu fights) ALOT easier to animate!!!
I totally wish i could program it, but im hoping someone out there can, because i would !!!LLOOVVEE!!! to see this implimented.

To see, why this would be so cool, go to http://www.jefflew.com and download the trailer for his char animation tutorial video, there are examples of this at work on the trailer!!! Also, check out Killer Bean if you’ve never heard of it, the first one is cheesy, the second was pretty cool and the soon to be released third looks pretty cool too!!!

Anywayz… make it so!!! (please)

Matt

Blend on, and blend well!!!

PS: What was that you sent him cree??? Sounds interesting…

It already exists. They are called ik solvers. I also sent you a sample file. I’ll also send you a complete character.

that function is cool in blender but this would make to way easier with BONE controler you’d just need to click the hip then the ancle or food, same for arms and maybe tails of animals…

That’s how its done in Blender.

maybe more useful feature would be to include armature structure
in the oops window, with parenting / ik, like schematics in Lightwave

and even more useful, would be making a video reference material
how-to-make-fast-great-looking-char-rig in blender for bipeds and
multipeds, and how to make bouncing breasts 8)

ow that would be cool function!
for other things to ofcoures heh.

I think a point and click ik constraints is much easier for newbies so they wont find them selves with like fity bones and rotating one at a time (errrm that was me in blender 2.11!!)
