Generi rig - IK FK - I'm missing something!

Hi there, I hope someone can help me. I just recently downloaded Karl Erlandsen’s version of Generi rig, it looks very good.
I seem to be missing something obvious though. When animating in FK you leave behind the IK solver (I think that’s what it’s called, it’s the square that originally sat on the hand). So if you move the rigs hand/arm around using FK then if you want to use the IK function - how do you get the IK square to match exactly where the hand has moved to. I feel I’m missing something here. Surely you don’t manually move the square?

surely yes, that is how it works. You can snap the ik solver to the hand if you need to anyway. It’s not uncommon in rigs to have the IK solvers do that.
