Copying a bone chain

This seems like it should be a really easy question, but it’s got me stumped. How do I copy a bone chain (or preferably, a set of bone chains) and then “flip” them? I am trying to make legs for a fly, and I have the whole left side rigged up (mostly–no IKs yet). The model itself is balanced, so I’d like to have the bones be equally balanced. Is there an easy way to do this? It’s a pain having to re-rig everything on the other side, and it’s not very precise.

Put the cursor in the middle of your model, copy the bone chain (Shift-D) and flip it (Skey, Xkey. Be sure to be in Cursor mode (Dotkey)).

All this in edit mode.

Once you do theeth’s suggestion, make sure you select all (a-key) bones and recalculate their rotations (alt-n) so there are no deformation surprises later.
