Remove Image datablock

Hi, I’m experiencing a very basic problem. I have a few image datablocks with no users (there is nothing that can use them and when i command select users, nothhing happens), but they’re still displayed solid as if they were used by something out there. Any Ideas how to sort it out?![file:///C:/DOCUME%7E1/Martin/LOCALS%7E1/Temp/moz-screenshot.jpg](file:///C:/DOCUME%7E1/Martin/LOCALS%7E1/Temp/moz-screenshot.jpg)

Save your file.
Close Blender
ReOpen your file and unused datablocks are purged. This applies to all datablocks, not just images.

Yes, I know that and I’ve tried that millions of times, but as I’ve said, the datablocks behave as if they were used. And there is NOTHING in the scene that could possibly use them.

Adding a screenshot…

Bumpity bump bump.

Images are tricky… they can be linked to textures, or to material or composite nodes, or to mesh faces, or as a background image… Or probably also in the VSE…

I don’t know, but those are some things to check. Specifically, play with the UV / Image Editor and the Node Editor.
