[Solved] 3 Objects follow 1 Path with given offset

Particular example, a wheelloader with articulated frame-steering, Blender 2.49b

I want one path where the loader moves.
I want 3 objects to follow the path.
Center should be the center of the frame steering.
The other 2 objects should be in the centers of the front and rear shaft drives.

Then i can parent 2 bones to the center objects and let them track to the other two objects, so far i am failing in letting 3 objects follow the shape of the path with an offset.
I can let 1 object follow the path and the other 2 follow the 1st one, but thats about it.

Any ideas or impossible with 1 path?

Sounds like the roller coaster or train car problem.
