enemys

I’ve read mmph’s enemy AI tutorial, but I am looking for a tut on how to get enemys to shoot at you. Any advice?

Use a random actuator to randomly change between shooting and not shooting.

Well, that really depends on the game you’re working on, but the basic premise would be several sensors, perhaps with several more properties, hooked up to several actuators. The state system and Python would help streamline the process…
The super-simple way most people start out with is a near sensor hooked to motion and track-to actuators…

Try insulting their mothers.

PlantPerson…

Your a champ. You are the biggest champ. And since you are a mod…no one can even get mad at you!

Ahahahahaha.

That made my day.

Edit: I read in one if the BIG AI books that I have that random AI behavior is really bad because then the other player cannot predict what is going to happen. Unless thats what you want…?

I would base it on factors. Is the player close enough, am I almost dead, is the other player almost dead. etc.

Things you would think of before you go and attack other players.

Okay. Thanks
