I was wondering how to use blender’s previous “Apply Deformation” script with Blender 2.53. I think I found the .py file online, but when I try to install it into the Add-ons section, absolutely nothing happens. Any advice?

I found the script he was talking about, I was wondering if you could help me updating it for the most recent blender version
it was called object_apply_def.py
