de Waag, a building that once stood in my hometown Sneek, made with blender, and rendered with freestyle for blender.
final render is 95K of vertices, took just over 8 minutes. i spend alot of time on it, since this is my first decent model of a buiding.
Rendering with freestyle saved me alot of unwrapping and texturing time, and i thank T.K. and the other freestyle developers for that

a door was missing, and deleting some unseen tree parts made it render in less then 5 minutes

Thanks. I thought that you were using some of the new builds. They have a different interface…
i am using a pretty recent build. i think what you mean is parameter edit mode, where you can make a line style yourself. in this(python scirpting) mode you pick one of the default line styles that come with blender freestyle. saves alot of time
