    Gave it a shot.
    AMD FX-8120
    8gb RAM
    2x NVIDIA GeForce GTX 660

    01:33.26 on GPU 1920px X 1080px @ 100% @ 100 samples
    But for some reason I am missing something on the mountains. But I checked all textures . can someone tell me what it is ?


    EDIT: Ow LOL.. first time ever that printscreen took a screenie of both my monitors

    Is BI could be faster ?

    Here is my result. I've been working on a machine for super fast Blender Cycles renders. I'd like to know if this is one of the faster times for this scene.

    OK, I just realized that this is my modified version of the Scene with 1000 samples.

    So at 1000 samples the time is 01:53.15...

    Maybe I'll rerender it at 100.

    I revisited this scene to test whether Cycles' rendering speed improved since 2.67/68 (last time I tested this scene, I believe).

    Quite interesting results:

    1920x1080 60% 100 samples, 256x256.

    V2.68: 46.21 seconds.

    v2.74 RC1: 26.69 seconds.

    Quite a difference for this particular scene. Due to particle system rendering optimizations, I wonder?

    Also many new features added to cycles kernel (making it heavier) may be a reason. A test like this will be interesting once we get to play with builds of the kernel-split patch that amd has been working on
    Everything's relative. Even saying "Everything's relative".

    NEW TEST with K40!

    GPU TEST (CUDA) took on a single node:
    Total time: 0.22 (standard tile size)
    Total time: 0.18 (tile size 256x256)


    I've used Blender 2.73a in Red Hat 64bit

    Renderfarm(single node):
    128 GB Ram
    Nvidia K40 x2
