fishes

this work i made for blender guru competition…modeling, lighting, composting, texturing ,rendered in blender 2.63

look great!

That looks really nice! But to make it look even more realistic, I would add little bubbles and particles, so it will look more like an underwater scene. Volumetric lighting could also help. Here is a good tutorial http://www.blenderguru.com/videos/creating-an-underwater-scene. Otherwise well done !

Beautiful! Awesome job!

REally great job!

thank you maxx

They are lovely fishies. Great image!

At first i thought “that is some very clear water they’re swimming around in!” but it turns out the water is pretty clear in most of the actual underwater photos i went and looked at, so it’s a less valid crit than i first thought. That said there’s a small fish up and to the right of the centre of the picture which feels like it should have more blur on it. Otherwise DOF would dictate it is a tiny fish.

thank you quollism:)

awesome! get’s me excited about blender!

Y’know, I wish that you wouldn’t take what is … ummm … obviously  a picture of a real fish-tank … and try to pass it off   as a Blender piece!

I mean … there’s … just no way  … that this could possibly be digital.

Nice work. I love colors. A lot of models are really good on this site but they lack color and brightness keep up the good work.
