Quick side note... thought this might be useful. This addon might be good for getting at areas of detail. It does layers in edit mode which Lightwave has. I just bought it. It's rock solid and inexpensive so...

Hey Ice, that girl render looks awesome!
I really love the quick sketch sculpts from #6364, love how you did the elfish ear on the creature. Those are perfect for the sketchbook, have it all in one place

I gotta try the Ice Tools Pro when I get a moment, looks cool.

Yeah, Ice Tools does look cool! Gotta get that one too!

@OrAngE, the ear is just a simple mask-pull move. That sculpt actually looked something else before but thanks to the upgraded Snake Brush experimenting with shapes is really fun to do.

@Lostscience, the girl is Makehuman basemesh modified with dyntoplogy. This is a really fast way to create human designs as opposed to starting from a sphere. Also good for me since it saves time when creating demo videos which involves human characters.

@R3sili3nt, ice tools is all you need, bro. and you're set for life. lol.

I'd be up for this. Themed sculpt jams are super fun. We try to have those every once in a while at work, when we can make it.
Not sure if weekly basis will be enough time. Not everyone might have the time on a weekly basis. But whatever, we can improv as we go along.

update on the last lunch crunch:

  15. #6375
@OrAngE: 2 weeks then. A month would stale the theme. . I'll write the post rules this monday. It will be fun.

    Okay, guys here's the Theme:

    March 21-April 15, 2017:
Techno Dino, Darkest Dungeon, Three Legged Thing, Something's Wrong With Me

This is a 1 month theme, pick just one. Remember, this is not a contest of awesomeness but rather a test of suck or success where you improve upon something unfamiliar to your sculpting prowess. It can be of any level of finish. Everyone is welcome to try. Don't be shy.

Copy paste the: "March 21-April 15, 2017: Techno Dino, Darkest Dungeon, Three Legged Thing, Something's Wrong With Me" theme and below that will be your picked theme and the picture of your sculpt. This way everybody is aware of the current theme without having to navigate the forum.

    Goodluck! and have fun sculpting!

Edit: You're free to try other themes if you're done with the others.

Sounds good Ice, I'm in. Not sure if I can finish this within the timeframe, I won't have much time in the upcoming month. But I'll participate

Where were you thinking of posting this, in the WIP area of the forum?

Here's a sneak peak of my start, going for a caricature. Got a whole pose/scene in mind, most likely won't get it out in time.

I love the proportions here. This character design looks super interesting!
