    hey, thanks so much for getting back to me nikitron! ill look at your site tonight! i dont speak russian but i did find that google translate can be added to firefox as a plugin to translate the whole page you sent me! (except the text in the pictures obviously! haha)

    i think you've got what what i meant the wrong way round. What im actually trying to do is make the distance from the first object dependant on the area of the face of the second object (the second object only has one face). again, ill try to do this tonight on my own using the nodes youve given me.

    we have not area node yet.
    But it in plans.
    And if you have squares, you may pick vertices by list item, take distance between them, use formula to calc area. it is hard way for now ))

    Also I've added cylinder node, with options for top and bottom radius, subdivisions, height and number of vertices. Enjoy!

    About my connection - it is not ready yet, but you can do simple connection. Between objects and between wrapped vertices list, so every wrapped insertion will be operated as one object. And active flag - direction of connection. Now it makes polygons from 3 and more objects without active direction. So it makes polygon/edge between two objects. Many job to be done.

    New nodes - Vector Drop - it used to make layout of all polygons in floor.
    List boom - to make every polygon as separate object. So, you operate with object's parts.

    so before i said i was trying to make a node setup which would make the objects area affect its distance from another object on the z axis only. for now i have only made this effect location. but it seems to be working. if this isnt a very good node setup or is indeed wrong please let me know

    im now going to try and work on one of two things. i either need to get every object in the scene to be affected by the same formula OR i need to try and use this new list boom node to seperate all the faces of an object and affect them all that way. I think the latter will be easier but so far i cant get it to work. wish me luck. as always, suggestions are super welcome

    Here it is. Try.
    It is simple in fact. You find centers of initial polygons (centers of polygons not works with many objects yet) than boom polygons, drop to zero matrix and than apply center'spolygon'smatrixs to polygons-objects. So, new objects will be in place. But adding Z axis with matrix deform node. That is what it doing.

    you deleted mesh, so select your mesh and push "get object", than update several times.
    So, you will get result.
