Freeride Mountainbike

Hi,
I am fascinated by the technology of these bikes so I started this project.

It took about a week for modelling and texturing.
I`ve tried to make this Bike as detailed as possible.

Everything modelled with Blender
Rendered with Cycles (200 samples)

High resolution version:

I hope you like it!

:D, thats amazing, i predict it’ll be up on the gallery

Simply awesome. It looks very photo realistic.

Excellent job! The best bike render I’ve seen on this forum

Excellent work

Holy smokes… this is just an incredible job in every respect. No doubt it is Gallery worthy. I’m just amazed how people like yourself can model this type of detail without blueprints. Only 1 little thing…someone stole your tire valve stem caps

edit… forgot to mention, I really like the background you went with on this render.

excelent…five stars from me…

i love DH! it is my secound hobby i really love that work

Simply Awesome!

Awesome feedback! Thank you very much!

@Something31337: It would be great if this picture make it to the gallery!

@harlynut97: I have noticed and fixed the Valve-caps.

Very nicely done.
I don’t know if it is just me, but after going over the full resolution image.
It looks like the chain is a little small, like it would break under stress.
Second, the outer radius of the brake disks looks a little bit small.
Maybe that top sprocket in front looks a little small for my liking, but that is just personal preference.

Otherwise, spot on. Very detailed.

Excellent work, congratulations.

Thank you Ewilde!
You have good eyes! It seems you know what you are talking about.

I scaled the chain and the outer radius of the brake disc and Updated the pictures.
maybe the chain looks so small because of the color?

Wow that looks impressive. (best one I’ve seen)

Really awesome!

Excellent work! Hats off!

stunning work another 5 stars from me

Excellent work! Very nice modelling and render.
The only thing that bothered me (apart from chain mentioned above) was the angle of the rear triangle that looks a bit sharp, but I googled and found several similar XC frames
And yes, that’s best bike model I’ve seen as well. Keep up the good work!

Excellent work, I’d love to see a wire frame version.

Excellent work! You should be impressed with yourself!!
