Is there any way to save image as tiff with blender without any compression?
Now it uses compression not supported by every software (e.g CryEngine resource compiler versions later than 3.4.5) so it would be nice to be able to choose compression method or no compression in such cases.
Or maybe there is a libtiff exposed in python (didn’t find as far).
There’s no option for TIFF compression in UI, so probably no. Is Targa RAW an option?
There seem to be several py libraries which can save to TIFF, but there’s probably none bundled with blender.
i am testing this image compressing control to compress tiff file format. working well for me at present. as tiff is a large image file, so it helps me a lot. it support saving tiff file as well. is it compatible with blender.
