It works very nicely for renders, but baking sucks bad. It works technically with a cube or something simple but any more complex object takes so long (and my specs are good) and often crashes completely. I was trying to bake one model down (64k verts) and it literally took me around a day - crashed windows a few times, loads of freezes, hiccups etc, barely useable.
I really want to use this in production but it's very difficult to apply it at its current stage...

have you tried the bevel in master?
