Here’s the result of a couple of days and nights, it’s based off of Aaron Becker’s painting in his book “Journey”. I was inspired by the magical world of the book, and decided to recreate one of the scenes in 3d.It turned out to be quite a heavy scene - final render of about 9 hours on cycles cpu i7 3.5 ghz.

I would love to make this book into a short film, but that’s only a dream. It wouldn’t surprise me if someone does make the film though, the book is amazing, with some sequels on the way.
