it could use a recalculate normals & remove doubles buttons.
recalculate normals > under Shading / Hide as a drop down menu

nice work! I need add this addon to Blenderaddonlist
mkbreuer, with meta tools installed in 2.71 would there be any reason to install this in 2.71? Would it get rid of the tabs? I was able to install 0-9.3 meta tools in both 2.69 and 2.71.
I'm finding that to install alot of files including [UI] Default Menus for 2.69
, one must first zip them and then unzip them and then put the unzipped folder in the main addons folder. I use 7 zip to do the zipping and unzipping. One must then install them individually thru install from file in addons. Use Liquideapes method in thread484 on this page. http://blenderartists.org/forum/show...1-28-13/page25Make sure after you have installed your addons that you put checkmarks beside the one's that show up, and then go to file in user preferences and check"autorun python scripts" and always hit save user settings whenever you make a change in user preferences. Then do a reboot and put a check mark next to your installed addons that did not show up b4 the reboot. Thanks
