I’ve read that blender is almost constantly auto recalculating vertex normals. I’ve written a small script to change the vertex normals but unfortunately when I export my model I loose the changes I’ve made because blender recalculated the normals. Is there anything I can do to stop blender from auto recalculating vertex normals?
I am aware that someone built a mod into a cust. build of blender but unfortunately that was for 2.49/2.5 and I need a later version as I need to export to .fbx
