With the absence of most procedural textures in Cycles, and because there is a lot of situations where I feel procedurals are better than image based ones, I took interest in tilings. This is the first result, for regular polygons. I will continue with other more complex ones.
So here are, triangular, square, snub_square, truncated square, hexagonal, and cairo
Scripts output separate hues and bevel maps as well as a combined ones.
the zip includes .blend and documentation.
The .blend includes mixers to change the default map. There is also 2 other cruder scripts
