python not working

Hi,

I recently reformatted my HD and reinstalled python (in the blender directory), but now I can’t run any scripts. The DOS screen (i forgot what it’s called) that also opens when I run Blender states that python is not installed. How do I fix this? I’m running windows XP, btw. Thanks!

Download it from www.python.org, take 2.3.x, not 2.4

Ok, I installed 2.3.4 on C:/, but now when I try to run scripts it says that python15.dll cannot be found. How do I fix this? Thanks!

what version of blender are you trying to run? [and what script?]

I don’t belive blender ever used python 1.5
