How to prevent walk-o-matic "twisted feet"

:o “Oooh, that looks painful!”

My poor, long-suffering mannequin’s feet were literally twisted, with the arch about 90-degrees one way and the toe 90-degrees to the other. Looked a bit like some kid had left one of his little-green-men out in th sun (on purpose) and then gave it a double-twist on the old tarsals.

Turns out that the problem was an interesting one. You have to use a Locked Track constraint to keep the foot from twisting…

Any chance of a description on the locked track constraint? I’ve fiddled around with it and read the documentation but couldn’t really figure out the difference between it and the regular track to. Or hwo to use it properly,
