writing my own windows

Hi,
I wanted to know if i can write using python my own windows (like we have the node editor or uv editor and so on) using python and if so where can i get some info about it (google didn’t help)
I know python for many years and just wanted to know if this is possible or it’s in a lower level of the code…

I would be interested in this too. You could also ask in the mailing list.

no, not in python. there are much of connection between subjects of blender in C++. if you change area, you adding this changes to all other subjects to sinchronize and coordinate workflow. only C++ and hard coding.

Ouch. A pity.

Hm, can we add tabs to existing windows? That way we could add content to existing windows and hide the content we don’t need. Or is tabs also a C / C++ thing only?
