Problem with Povanim236

Hi all,

I just downloaded Povanim236_01a.zip and the installation went fine.
However, when I try to launch it from within Blender, I get a message on the console saying ImportError: Bad magic number in Povanim_236_01.pyc
I guess this is related to my Python version (I have v2.4 installed) but I don’t know how to solve this problem.
Any hints?

just use python 2.3 instead .

Well, I hoped there was a simpler solution that didn’t require dismantling my present Python (and possibly Blender) installation…

Povanim uses python 2.3 because blender only works with this version on my platform and, for the moment, it is the version of the bf-blender CVS too .
