Parenting Armature with Auto-weights After Rotating Bones Help

Hello I am trying to rig a model of a WWII Soldier with an already made armature. I rotate the bones and scale a few to fit inside the model, but when I parent the model to the armature with automatic weights the model gets twisted up.

How do I set the bone rotations to 0 while keeping the pose I want? Or is there another solution to this problem?

You should be rotating/scaling/moving the bones in edit mode. When finished moving the bones around, you should be able to enter pose mode, select bones and do an alt-r, alt-s, alt-g, and the bones shouldn’t move.
