Rig pauses and sometimes moves a little bit after keyframing

When I move my rigs hand with auto keyframe on there’s a slight pause and sometimes the hand moves a little bit, has anyone experienced this before and knows how to fix it? I think its something to do with trying to set up the spine like this.

IK Chain length is 2 and pole target is on what would be the 3rd bone so its not that particular cyclic dependency mistake.

Ok so looking at it again it actually happen on all rigs. I must have been in a particularly perceptive mood yesterday because I haven’t noticed it before. It happens more when I move a bone fast (g) and confirm the move quickly (lmb). I’m assuming there’s no answer to this now I’ve worked out it wasn’t to do with my rig being bad.
