I get this error :
http://pages.infinit.net/bobois/Clipboard.jpg
when I try to use this file.

Windows 2K, Blender 2.36 official, Python 2.3 with PIL for Python 2.3. One or four balls selected = same error.

Jean

-This is one of these cases in which the motion
projected in the screen is impercetible. You have to
force the generation of blur manually.Select the
"manual " button and set an “ammount of blur” (for
example 10 pixels) and a “frame difference” greater
than one(3 or 4).
Anyway,I’ll try to fix it in the future versions
Ben

I did read you know…
It just never occured to me that a motion that was perfectly perceptible by myself on the screen could be imperceptible to your program.

Thanks for answering.

Jean

:expressionless: yeah your right,I’ve been expressed wrong.
My intention was to tell that the movement between
two adjacent frames is impercetible by the script

Ben

Don’t be embarassed. You’ve done well.
Sorry if I was curt : its not been a good day for me in another newsgroup but you shouldn’t suffer for that.

I was able to blur only the active selected object : is this normal or am I missing another point ?

Do you entertain development plan for your script, like being able to blur just one choosen frame ?

Jean

-Yes it blurs only the active object at the moment. The solution
for the moment is to repeat the same procedure by selecting
as input file the blurred one before and selecting another object.

-As regarding the rendering of a choosen frame ,you can select
in the Scene Window start frame and end frame the same.(eg.
sta:6 end:6 ,the script will render only frame 6).
-I fixed the above error.

Ben

Sweet! I hoped that somebody would make a motion blur script like this. Thank you very much for your work.

Nevertheless, I think it is essential for most projects to blur multiple objects on one pass.

I’m looking forward to updates…

-In the next version it will be included.Soon…

Ben

yeah!
thank for your good work!!

alee ooo alee ooo

-New version of the script.Supports multiple objects blur in one pass.
Added a blur factor in order to reduce the amount of the blur.

Ben

Great! I’ll use it and let you know about the results. Thank you!

Just want to let you know that I worked with it now and it runs just fine.

I moved your Motion Blur script into my ‘essential scripts’ folder.

glad to know it’s useful for you!
-Just added a new version which supports camera motion
too.(will be summed withe object motion). To obtain the
blur for all the objects ,must be added with “Add Object”
button.
