Vertex Group selection box

Hi,

How can I create a selection box for vertex groups? Similar to the one shown in the attachment.
I need it for a render engine integration, for the material settings. Therefore this should be saved per material.
For other settings I’m using a ‘PropertyGroup’. But there doesn’t seem to be a Property which can hold this information.
What can I do?

Nevermind, I found it out. You have to use a ‘StringProperty’ and ‘prop_search’ in the UI.
