pieriko, thanks man. I have a mist pass enabled although I am not using it yet in the compositing nodes. I had to simplify my render layers down in order to be able to get test renders in reasonable time. I plan on using the mist to wash out and desaturate some to fake a snowier feel. Probably the last step before post will be enabling the separate layers and compositing depth and other node work.
