Animation plays automatically

I seem to be having trouble controlling animations on this model. It is supposed to have three actions: ViewerExpand, ViewerClose and ViewerIsClosed.

But the thing keeps closing when I scrub or hit alt-a.

Is it keyframed in the main timeline independently of the actions?
How can I fix this? I don’t want it to play this animation by default.

It’s not even working for me right now. scratches head We sorted the problem, the model needed to have it’s animations tweaked. Nice eyeball, btw
