How would you add and auto walk feature similar to AnishWij's Rig in Blender?

I am making a minecraft rig and it is based of of multiple rigs I have liked from blender and different software’s. One of my favorite rigs is AnishWij’s rig But it’s for C4D :(. I want to know if there is a way to add an auto-walk feature in blender.
