Import .MAX to Blender

Hi,
I have a .max file that I want to import to blender,I looked in the forums, it seems the only way is to use 3dsmax , but I can’t download it.
Can someone open my .max file in 3dsmax and export an FBX format for me, please?

As i remember there is a free fbx converter in the autodesk website i think is called fbx sdk or fbx converter

well 3DS max and blender are 3D modelling software,but different main file extensions so only import/export helps or install both applications on your PC
