Got a image (png) i would like to attach to a post.
Cant attach image (using from computer)
The error XYZ.png upload of file failed. (note it does not occur when i first open the image but only when i click the upload file(s))
How large is the file (in MB)?

That would be the issue. Maximum image size for attachments here is 2MB.
Im not too experienced in this kind of thing. Should i render my pictures at a lower quality?
You can use a smaller image size (in pixels) or an image format that uses lossy compression (such as JPEG). Alternatively, you could host the file elsewhere (pasteall.org or imgur.com) and link to the image.
