I’ve been looking for 4 hours now and still getting nowhere. all I want to know is how to use the compositer to render true black (RGB 000) as transparent. I need the sparks by themselves.
With emissive elements like sparks you probably don’t need alpha at all. Sinply screen or plus them over the background. To get alpha, see previous post and also check that you save your images with a format that supports alpha channel and that RGBA is the chosen channel set (not RGB).
