I just released a game!

Hi there!

Me and my friend recently finished a, if I might say, pretty cool puzzle game for mobile where you have to move and combine color blobs to solve pretty tricky puzzles! It is called “Mix and Fill” and it is avaiable for free for Android (Coming soon for iPhone).

I would love any feedback you can give us on how to make it better since we are both new to making games. Thanks in advance!

man what engine did you use for it ?

We wrote it in LibGDX, it is a framework where you can write a game once and build it for Android and iOS  Not the best experience to be totally honest, a “real game engine” would probably have been smarter, but at least we got it to work! And learned quite a bit on the way since we had to program quite a lot ourselves

and yet it,s cool

Thank you!

No, I had never heard of it! Really intereseting, I had no idea something like that was being done. Thank you for linking it to me.

I just wanted to say that the iPhone version is out as well now, so please try it and tell me what you think of it! https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/id1128218500

Ohh, nice! I want to have a look!

No Problem and good luck!!

The Godot Engine can also do mobile publishing and already has several mobile games under its belt (one from the engine’s creators and a few more from users).

The development scene also has a heavy amount of community involvement, and it plays well with Blender via their Better Collada addon.
