So in 2.77.1, I noticed this key is acting all weird on me… am I alone?
When I hit the button from the Toolbar, its fine… Shift+S works OK, also
To be more precise, no menu appears and the object kind of scales in a weird way
Because that is not the default shortcut to set the origin
If you have created a custom shortcut you need to ensure it does not clash with an existing one. In this case Shift+Alt+S is the shortcut for ‘Object / Transform / To Sphere’
