The Blender Discord is an amazing community and a great place to meet other Blender users! There are channels where you can post questions and get rapid fire help, talk shop about problems Blender faces, show off your artwork, and even livestream a modeling session or two!
I’ve noticed most of Blender Development chat takes places via mailing list or at specific meeting times on IRC. I think Discord could provide a nice alternative to relatively archaic IRC chats.
