Mesh to Solid with Fusion 360

Hi,

I have a question that I hope someone can help. Before some months I was able very easy to convert a mesh object to a T-Spline object with Fusion360. I had to export the model from Blender as obj (ONLY QUAD FACES) and then import to Fusion360 to convert it. Now there is a new update in Fusion and although the model that I export from Blender is quads, Fusion doesnt recognise it and makes triangulate and therefor cant convert it. The number of faces that i have are only 6. I really need to convert a model to T spline. Does someone has experience with this?

Thanks

Hi Kryiakos,

Did you ever get this figured out?

Hi CSCB,

yes I found the solution. If you go to Fusion Preferences, that you can find up right where your name and log in is, you can go to the mesh panel and change the imported mesh options. From defalt converts the mesh to triangles. Change this option.

Also don’t have thousend of quads. It will be very dufficult to convert it.

Hope that helps.
