Get a desktop and an ultrabook.
A mid-high end gaming desktop can be had for ~1000USD (i7, gt970) (My desktop cost $1020 USD excluding monitor)
And an ultraportable chromebook can be had for ~300USD.
Mobile GPU’s suck. A 960M (as in the example above) is equivalent to a … gtx460. (proof). So if you get the latest and greatest gaming laptop, you’re still 6 years behind current mid-range GPU’s.
Good info guys. I thought laptop GPUs are the same as desktop GPUs. I’ll just buy a desktop.
Hey you were right. Todays 10xx nvidia series for laptops are as good as desktops. Wait few days for new generation of gaming laptops to come. I think that this would be more than enought.
