How to import .blend file?

Hello, I edited a .mp4 file. I tried to export as a .mp4 file, but a .blend file was created.
So, I Opened the .blend file in Blender Video Editing, but there’s no tracks in the Sequence Editor.
Any suggestions please?

You need to export by using the Render button

Hello, I fixed this by recopying the original video file as a .avi file and then using the Render output options.
