I want him to look kind of like a lego figure, but not so much that people will think it IS a lego figure, just poorly modeled.

I begin with 2d. Make a card in magic set editor. Then when it’s not enough - find something like Lego or minecraft. I think for commercial game character must be free - i mean not Lego. But if not to earn on it - Lego is best Imho…
