I made this image, because like sharks. I find it very sad that they are endangered; they are often hunted because of their fins and there aren’t many fish around either due to overfishing for them to eat.
I made this with Blender Cycles and rendered it with 200 samples (It could have used some more, though). Worktime was about 8 hours. After rendering I did some post processing in Gimp and the Compositor.

Beautiful colour and shading! Really, really like it!

Is it just me or did you intentionally give this shark a sad expression? Kind of depressing, but it looks good.

Yes, I did intentionally give it a sad expression. The picture is called All Alone and I made it to express the overfishing problem.
